ECHO Co MCRD Graduation Day 03.11.22
Echo Company - 2nd Recruit Training Battalion
WOW! What a day! The last 24 hours have retched my heart but if there is anything the military has taught me it is to preserve and keep trying. I will NOT stop capturing these special moments for military families, especially new Marines. I will keep working out all of these kinks and come back stronger than ever!
In the meantime, here are amazing families of the nation’s newest Marines. I met up with these folks at Liberty Station, formerly known as the Naval Training Center San Diego, which welcomed its first Navy recruits in 1923 and closed after 60 years. Liberty Station is now San Diego's Town Square and perfectly replicates Marine Corps Recruit Depots architecture.
**Disclaimer ** I am not affiliated or contracted by the Military/MCRD. By hiring me prior to your event, I am your guest and there to capture your family for personal use. One or more person in every photo has an active photo release to Morning Owl Fine Art Photography or is a general overview photo that has been contracted to be taken for personal use.
Are you looking to book a photographer to remember your Marine’s Graduation Day? I would love to help! Please contact me today as I can book up fast.

This November, I joined twelve other veterans right here in East County San Diego to receive a Quilt of Valor during a special luncheon at Foothills United Methodist Church in La Mesa. I will share with you what the Quilts of Valor Foundation is, how I have personally been “touched by war,” the story of my shipmate whose death changed my path, and how I now get to serve other military families; by telling their stories through photography and journaling.
